I have no need to forgive her. She hurt me, yes, but I understand her and have her in perspective. She is not a problem.

I never said she broke the law. I am calling Kirkwood a bad boss, however. They show similar characteristics in attitude.

Looks like Kirkwood has broke or is on a thin line of breaking laws.
And if she is not a problem for you.... then why do you keep her in the front of your mind and can't seem to move past all that?

Maybe she is doing some soul searching... maybe she feels she needs to protect herself....
Maybe it makes her nervous that you are reading and commenting and posting about the newspaper in her area....who knows why she is reading your blog.
I would have hoped you both left each other alone after she left Amarillo...and not try to interfere in each others lives.

I really don't but you post on a public message board..... just like you make your blog public.
And if you are still obsessing about her and all that...you can't move on with your life... and all the forgiveness stuff you wrote would then mean nothing but just a bunch of words that you typed and did not feel.... which is not fair to your readers.

Well ... you don't know me, haven't made an effort and really don't know where I stand in the forgiveness issue. Just because I may have forgiven doesn't take away the facts of what happened, or that the actions reported about Kirkwood reflect heavily upon my experiences with Nusser. She is a part of who I am and the past I've experienced. And, I don't regret that. While it hurt very much at the time, I am thankful now for the experiences I've had. Doesn't mean I liked it at the time.
But, I can also see this "debate" is headed in a direction that won't end nicely, so I'm ending my part in it now. This thread is intended to be about Kirkwood and his dealings at Cornerstone.

You are right... I don't know you personally cats... but I did enjoy reading some of what you wrote so I would read your blog here and there... the blog where you put your entire life so the whole world can know you....and I am not trying to be ugly... but it just seems you haven't moved on and that is not healthy.
You say it's about Kirkwood.... but you threw Nusser in there AGAIN. Just like the posts from the paper in her area. I just made an observation.
You are obviously the one that is upset.... and maybe that is why you feel this "debate" won't end nicely....
I hope some day you can move past that experience...... that's all.

Not upset, just leery of the direction this thread seems to be headed. My intent is that this story with Kirkwood very much reminds me of my experience with Nusser.

But Kirkwood appears to be more than just a bad boss.... I found the skirting the law thing more telling of his character.... if he is going to bend the laws and do the things he has done... of course he is going to treat people as stepping stones. People like that place no value in anyone other than themselves.

I'm glad the Independent didn't wait until right before the election to make these serious allegations. I think Mr. Kirkwood owes the voters in his precinct further explanation and deserves some time to respond.
