What did they steal? A helicopter? )) I guess everyone has ever dreamed of a helicopter--especially a military one--when stuck in traffic in the afternoon.

Wow, I saw this in Half-Life (computer game). It can be compared with Chinook, I guess. Albeit Chinook is more powerful.

Just I read in news there's some new model of military helicopter was built in Amarillo, so I decided maybe residents of the city know about the factory. I know there are many military jets fly over the sky a lot, so I though maybe helicopters too?

Is that true there's a military factory that makes helicopters for the Air Force in Amarillo?

They pay no taxes and our STUPID government still gives them access to the system. Sounds like communism ;D Everyone gives what he can and is given what he needs ;D Something is rotten in the state of Denmark, huh? ;D;D;D

As far as I know the bird feeder works for those who stay in the United States on a law basis. If you are illegal, you don't have an access to the bird feeder. No?

Smells like racism Since I'm the only Russian here, I feel like I should represent Russia a little. There's all the same like you've written, because it's a multinational country with tons of illegals too, but the only bird using the bird feeder is the government itself. There's a joke. A man applies for a police officer. He becomes an officer and they give him a gun,"Go work, dude". A month has passed, the second one has passed... the officer doesn't come for his pay-check. They find him and ask why he doesn't come for his salary. He, surprised, says,"Salary? I though take a gun and survive as you wish".

I'm not sure if it's under the laws to phone while driving in Russia, but actually I can confirm it could be dangerous, because I saw many times how people lose attention on the road. But what do you mean when you talk about the "phone distraction"? Is it losing attention or more like driving by one hand? If it's about attention, then I believe talking via phone is the same like talking to your friend who sits next to you. As to driving by one hand, it's allowed--in Russia anyway--to use a hands-free garniture for your phone so you can hold the wheel by two hands.

You know what, guys? My companion has a son who's in the military right now. The son has a particular time for a few phone calls. And it so happens the time is when my companion and I are on the road driving to the rendezvous with other people who can't wait. So my companion--who's a driver--talks while driving. But he's a professional with a huge experience and the situation is so delicate so I just can't say him,'Hey man, drop the phone'.

Look! Without hands! ...*boom* ;D Did anyone see the lunar eclipse a few days ago? Yeah, I know it's an off topic, but since there's not that many users and since what I'm going to do right here doesn't worth its own thread, I hope you'll just assess my little silly story of how I watched the lunar eclipse

By the way, is it allowed to use a hands-free while driving?

I bet you saw this clip That long yellow palace, my parents were there on their honeymoon. It's called Peterhof palace or just Peterhof. I've never been there, but my parents say that's a very beautiful place. The Saint Petersburg is a beautiful city itself. It was designed by the best--well, maybe not the best ones ^_^--architects of Europe of that time. The city was considered to be a "window to Europe", the place where it wouldn't be a shame to invite foreigners to ;D By the way, Peter the Great brought potato to Russia from America. People here hadn't known potato before that He also brought coffee to the country and made all officials to cut their beards ;D Attachments:

I guess they just take a huge drill and bore the ground ;D My humble opinion on history books is there's no real answer why. There's just what happened and an author's attitude to that which can be synonymous with yours or not. If you do your own conclusion from what you read, that might be wrong, because you can't know what was on those historic peoples' minds. Though your conclusions may be very close. It's like a game between an advocate and a prosecutor But those books are still interesting!)
