They appear to have completely shut down....and the parking lot has been empty for the last several days.
Since the PRAD records show the building changed hands while Bike Korner was still there....I'm wondering if the building owner got paranoid and quit....or evicted a tenant.

Nope...
But being there are just as many cops in that hood as there are by Blvd and grand area... it was kind of dumb to open something illegal on a corner like that if they were wanting to go un-noticed.
Even ghetto poor businesses would hand paint or sharpie and posterboard a sign to draw attention to the new business.... this the case of Ming and Maria it was just "Open"

There was a very similar thing in an old TNT building....close to my hood...but I think they got raided and shut down a couple of years ago.
That building has just sat empty...but has the same silver stuff over the glass on the door.

Well....I was freakin' gutsy tonight... and pulled up in the old Bike Korner parking lot in my SUV...rolled the window down...and asked a guy coming out...what sort of the place it was. He didn't want to tell me at first...and finally said...It's just a hangout...an arcade. So...with no business sign...and limited access...make your own judgement.

Geez Amarillo Police Department.... We all knew this place was suspicious...a year and half ago.... All you've got to do is notice where lots of cars are.... Right off 26th...between Paramount and Georgia...is a very obvious location. >>> Cars at an old Toot-N-Totum with reflective stuff on the windows...screams 8-liner place. www.amarillo.com/stories/011309/new_news12.shtmlHome > News > Local News Web-posted Tuesday, January 13, 2009 Police raid 5 gaming sites in AmarilloPolice raided five gaming sites in Amarillo on Sunday. An eight-liner gaming business at 26th Avenue and Patterson Street was the main target of the raid, said Potter County attorney Scott Brumley. The other sites, including homes and warehouses, were used for storage. Officers seized more than $166,000, weapons, marijuana and stolen property during the raids. Brumley said the raids came after a year of undercover investigation by various law enforcement agencies. "The eight-liner business has gone underground, which makes it difficult, but we're going to stay after it," he said. Three people were arrested. - Staff writer Brad Newman
