12 days without a food post, so I figure I'd get the ball a'rollin' again . . .
I tried MickieD's newwish breakfast burrito today. Simply awful. How does a corperate restaurant, who spends gobs of money taste testing its products, come up with such inedible garbage?
It had the nastiest sauce that was kind of sour. The sausage was mush, and the processed cheese was rubbery, and made agent orange when mixed with the sauce.
I know, I know... what did I expect?

It past test markets somewhere. The idea is that it appeals to most folks but it won't to everyone. I agree it is garbage. I had it and it is awful.

McD's used to have really good sausage biscuits, but now they finally ruined them and the biscuit is flavorless. Not only that, but they changed the barbecue sauce, so McNuggets suck now, too. What the heck?!

Hey bdub - i'd like to personally congratulate you for bringing this forum back to life with such a quality post. After another week or 2 of rest, I think we'll all be ready to discuss the origin of the mini corndogs. I'd also love to hear your thoughts on the KFC bowls. This hotbed of culinary gabbing surely could not survive without you and your acute observations on all things cheap, fast and greasy!

Musta that is becuase about in 1992 biscuits were no longer made in the stores. They went to frozen trays of biscuits as opposed to making them with flour and mix.
Guess what McD fans. ALL the eggs are now frozen and warmed up on the grill. Burrito mixes come in cartonsand are cooked when they used to be done in store.
Bowls at KFC (when done right) are awesome.

I can't even think about eating the KFC bowls. I have too many issues about my food touching.

Nope, this particular biscuit change is recent... like... they were still good in 2006 if not 2007. They taste watery now.

Soooooooo......ever think about getting up early and actually making that good ole' country style breakfast we all grew up with? You know, everyone on here complains about a poor-ass breakfast they get at a fast-food joint, yet won't wake up early to cook for themselves/or others (their family) and have a decent breakfast. If you're too lazy, don't B-I-T-C-H. You get what fast food you pay for.

I'm not complaining. I don't even eat breakfast, usually. Just make sure I can get a cup of coffee.

Sorry your feelings got so hurt that you decided to spell out a curse word. We need to consider scheissekopf's feelings next time, folks.

When I first saw the name of this topic...I thought you might be talking about that Peppito's place off I-40...in the old El Chico's building.
About breakfast...my mother had 3 guys to feed...and she didn't let any of us out of the house without eating breakfast first.
It's interesting how lots of people think skipping breakfast will help them lose weight...but you can read that skipping breakfast is bad and largely counter-productive to weight loss.

And no, I am not the FRY Cook at MickeyD's. And as for spelling out a curse word, I had to because most bulletin boards interject with another word in place of said curse word (kind of like an automatic moderator). My feelings will never get hurt on here, you fast-food forum fatty, so try another forum instead....

Weightstead, I was just trying to call you out as a judgemental, name-calling, angry person. And with that last post, you just proved my point. You start by calling pjustus lazy, now you call me a fatty? That is class, bro.
