I'm sorry jazzman I probably shouldn't have said anything... but I hate seeing these boards used as a tool for intimidation, harassment, and ridicule.... which is exactly what was being done by posting Nussers name in this thread and before that.... links to the paper in her area.
We saw what that kind of behavior did to another board.... and now she has a blog for that kind of stuff and she should leave it there....
Now had Nussers name been left off...this thread might have made for some intelligent enlightening discussion.
Much progress has been made to heal the hard feelings and suspicions from what happened on that now blown up board... and I will rip into anyone I feel that is trying to stop that progress and bring up hard feelings and bad times..... it's time to move on.
We all use to have a lot of fun together and I would like to see that again.

Well I'm not saying we shouldn't discuss the new allegations but I don't see that it has anything to do with past allegations against another person all together. It was such an anrgy load of postings, incriminations and counter incriminations, I cringe to think it could be all re-hashed.

I think Mr. Kirkwood should call a press conference and respond to these allegations. His constituents deserve an explanation and should write in a candidate if they don't get one.

There was so much ugly going on at that time Rena that it was hard to keep up with everything....KKK.... AGN.... one we won't mention because he is not worth it... and various trolls... it had definitely become unenjoyable to post there........ real life has enough drama and stress...and when your escape place becomes polluted and more stressful than real life....not good. And to be suspicious about people you care about and consider friends just sucked.... never want to go there again.

The story in the Indy was good.... but wondering if any of the local news channels would pick it up... might could get it out to a broader range of people BEFORE the election.... we all know AGN won't touch it. |

The TV stations seem to have more guts about covering stories than the Globe News.
Les Simpson is just a suck-up...and hasn't produced a hard-hitting investigative piece since he came to town.

See the latest Amarillo Independent for more very serious allegations against Mr. Kirkwood. I don't know if they are true and I feel sorry for him if they are not.
He should've responded to the previous allegations about illegal use of Vista Volunteers.
Regardless of the sexual misconduct allegations, if I lived in his precinct, I would vote for the write in candidate, Cristal Robinson.
