The Talk Amarillo layout was chosen because it had worked well...and appealed to the community as a whole. Can we take this to mean that former TA people are welcome here? Are discussions like "morning coffee talk", Texas Roadhouse, Taco Villa and my continued dislike about the job situation in Amarillo going to be welcome here? While these topics seem trivial, for those of who don't live in Amarillo anymore, we enjoy keeping in touch with what we still consider home and TA was a fun way to do just that. There are some that posted on TA for different reasons...and that is good too. I feel like I always tried to share a mutual respect with those people and would, of course, do the same here. There are a couple of us that have spoken and respect that admin wishes to remain anonymous but because we don't know for sure who admin is, we want to be sure that we are welcome here before we set up camp.  |

Hello sccindy,
I will speak up for the main admin who is unavailable at this time and if he/she thinks I am wrong, then they can correct me later.
It is my understanding when I was asked to help moderate the board that the administrator wants a board that is similiar to TA. All TA people are welcome, however, there will be moderating done on a fairly regular basis (as you guys have already noticed). Amarillo needs a board where people can come together and talk about what is going on around town (ie your dislike for the job situation), but the "morning coffee talk" will also be welcomed here.
This board is NOT in any way affiliated with ANY business including the AGN. Feel free to talk about your love of Texas Roadhouse and Taco Villa while also expressing your concern for the job market.

Now, since the paranoid one is gone...... I say continue on as usual! Well ... I didn't really realize I was viewed as being so paranoid ... but I didn't go away. I did delete the Missbehavin ID so I could go back to being catsmeow without having two IDs floating around. |

Trouble knows how to play King of the Hill to everyone that can see him, but behind everyone's back he has a HUGE KNIFE. I think good ole TA'ers know that one too well. |
