why the comics page of the Globe News isn't in color ?

They are being cheap. The Globe New is a pitiful excuse for a newspaper. They are just an advertising agency for City Hall and the old rich families, and my guess is that a certain family owned local bank gives them free money to keep them afloat.

LOL guess that explains that then. As a newcomer to the area may I make one observation without getting beheaded. You really don't know who is rich and not so well off down here. People don't dress according to their economic standing. In church the dress can only be described as 'casual'. Here I walk in with nice clothes and some jewelry. Felt like I walked in with a mask on or something , so, ok, I went down to slacks and nice blouse from gold to silver and scaled down. LOL I thought people was not doing so well in the church and felt bad for them, then, I found out one was a college professor, married to a social worker, couple worked at pentax, so forth and so on. They looked like they just got off the farm. LOL I'm from the mid-west , so, not exactly northeast. I can only imagine what the impression would be from those folks. the folks down here could buy U out and have change left over, but, to look at them you would think they was on relief. One week, our preacher apoligized for having on a sport jacket, of course over khaki pants (LOL) I thought to self what U should have on , not ban lon shirt your in church for cat sake. Just different set of values I guess. They sure like their trucks and oh my God every **** kid down here has a moped, 4 wheeler, dune buggy, 3 wheeler, etc. don't they just like to stir up the dirt. grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr  |
