A couple of years ago, my son, his wife, a friend and I went to ToysRUs on Thanksgiving night. That place has got it right. They had plenty of the advertised gifts and they only let a few people in at a time. So, even though it was cold (midnight opening), the store wasn't too crowded, I got what I needed for my granddaughter and all the little ones I buy for and I was home before 2:00 AM, gifts wrapped, in bed and asleep. Of course my son and DIL stayed up and hit Target and Old Navy when they opened. They didn't get everything they wanted because the stores don't carry enough of the big advertised items. I got a good nights sleep. Hmmm, who came out the winner on that one?
