Taxes & Urine Test
Like a lot of folks in this state, I have a job. I work, they pay me.
I pay my taxes and the government distributes my taxes as they see
fit. In order to get that paycheck. I am required to pass a random
urine test, which I have no problem with.
What I do have a problem with is the distribution of my taxes to
people who don't have to pass a urine test. Shouldn't one have to pass
a urine test to get a welfare check, because I have to pass one to
earn it for them?
Please understand, I have no problem with helping people get back on
their feet. I do, on the other hand, have a problem with helping
someone sit on their butt. Could you imagine how much money the state
would save if people had to pass a urine test to get a public
assistance check.

Thats a very good thought, rena. I would be in favor of urine test to get or renew Drivers License, etc.

Rena that is the best thing I have heard in sometime. I would vote for that every single time it came on a ballot. I agree with you that as far as helping someone get on their feet. However our system is built to help them sit on their butts for entirely to long. I also think it should be a requirement that they have to enroll in school and keep and A-B average in school for some type of training also. A time limit should be put into place on how long someone is allowed to receive welfare. They might already have something like that though.

Pure and simple...DRUG USERS SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO COLLECT WELFARE...OR HAVE THEIR MEDICAL EXPENSES PAID BY TAXES.
Either be drug-free...or quit trying to live off welfare.

Wow I guess all poor welfare people are drug users. Not all are...but you can NAIL the retard drug users. Anything you can do...to motivate the stupid drug users to clean up their lame act...is good. No sympathy for drug users or drug dealers. BUST THEIR AZZ. |

May you never have an addicted family member. I guess I better not...because I'd be very tempted to shoot the dealer or friends who provided the drugs in the first place. I can guarantee...any druggie friends of theirs...would at least feel some physical pain...for providing drugs. Attack the problem.  |

OK I do not believe I said that "all welfare recipient's" are drug users. But I do believe I said "I have no problem helping people onto their feet". If you need help as we all do at some point in our lives you should be able to receive said help, rather it be food, shelter, clothing, ect. But, to continue to live on welfare when you are perfectly able to get up off the couch and get educated to provide a better life for yourself, I think you should not be allowed to continue receiving it. I do have family members that are addicts. Some have died, some have been in jail, and some are still users. However, at some point that was a choice they made and I nor you the tax payer should have to support their irresponsible behavior. Bottom line...

This was something I got in an email. I do not have to take a drug tet at work thank God! ;D
My opinion is this, if ya need welfare cool. Get it! If you are raping the system, you suck! Oh and thanks for helping my kids get through school I would not want you supporting them when they are grown and on welfare!

WELL...I have 2 addicted family members and i do NOT feel sorry for them.. they put that sh*t in thier body, knowing damm well what it could/ would do to them... :(NOPE i feel no sympathy what so ever .... ALSO i am tired of them trying to sponge off of me, steal from people and scr*w the taxpayers.... |
