Did you see the story on the news about the bloody bandaid found in the McDonalds hamburger? How would you handle this situation as a customer and owner of the McDonalds?

I got a big, black bug in my taco at Taco Bell a few years ago. The store did give me my money back. But when I called 1-800-TACOBELL, to report it, they said "OK". I haven't been to any Taco Bug/Bell since then.
As for the bandaid....as a customer, I would ask for my money back and would e-mail McD's. Just like with Taco Bell, they would probably say, "OK". Even on their best day, it's still only "McFood" anyway. lol!
If I were the owner of any restaurant and something like that happenned, I would give the customer his/her money back and ask the customer what I could do to make it right with them.

Sccindy that is exactly how it would / should be handled. NOt much you can really do. Lawsuits could be potentially filed as well. Problem is employees. Not the best in the west and some can do this stuff on purpose.

I would simply notify those in charge and find somewhere else to eat. Heck, there is another McDonalds down the street. Owners will likely toe the franchise line. I wouldn't sue unless I was harmed and I do not think being grossed-out is real harm.

First YUCK!! After I finished puking up my toe nails, I'd notify the manager and most likely I wouldn't return to the restaurant again.
