Anybody know anything about the Eagle Pointe Community down in Canyon? Seems like a nice area to build in. Close to the city, but, you can still have a acre or 2 to yourself.
Any cheers or jeers ?

I live in west Amarillo...and don't know anything about Eagle Pointe...
But you need to make sure you are on city utilities for water and sewer...if you want complete reliability without future worries.

I think out there it's all water wells and your own septic tank.

Somehow the notion of septic tanks and well water just doesn't jibe with a fancy subdivision name using the word "pointe". When we were home shopping we looked at one place that ran $125 a foot and that was a with stained concrete floor in the kitchen and another $25,000 for a well and septic tank.
