I was out browsing at Best Buy today...and over by the TV's...I heard someone discussing that...
apparently KAMR's tower transmitter has been down for 2 or 3 days.
With the way that station operates in Amarillo...I'm really not surprised. ;D
But it makes me wonder if their transmitter is either so old it's not worth fixing...or they can't get parts for it anymore...or if they are having to scramble for money to fix it or buy a new transmitter.
In 2 or 3 days...you should have been able to get parts or repair technicians from anywhere in the country.
Wonder how many people in Amarillo and Canyon are still getting TV from a roof antenna or rabbit ears.
I quit watching their news when Bill Turner left for weather...and they got that Amy lady.
