Howdy, Sport.
No offense, SJ, but these Max Cannon cartoons really suck.
Cartoon #1 suggests that God is impolite, obsessive, and inattentive to prayer. Specifically, the cartoon suggests that the Bible is wrong about prayer.
Cartoon#2 indicates that God (this time, actually attentive to prayer) designed Hinduistic Reincarnation. The only thing funny about that is the fact that Hindus do not believe in a monotheistic God. Additionally, the cartoon suggests that the Bible is wrong about afterlife. Even worse, the cartoon implies that clergy, knowing the truth, would prefer to lie.
Cartoon #3 indicates the the Creator of the universe is an incomptent boob incapable of completing an intended design, and that one of the primary forces that shape the entirety of the universe (gravity) was an accident. Also accidental, according to the witlessly illogical Max Cannon, was the demise of the dinosaurs because an overly-frugal and incompetent God screwed up in the creation of their prey.
The only thing that I find funny in these comic strips is the notion that hubristic contempt can be realized as humor.

sj - I think they're hilarious! Thanks for posting them. I think I'll go to the website, print some of these out and post them at church where they'll be greatly appreciated.
