BELMONT, California (AP) -- A sport utility vehicle jumped a curb outside a middle school Wednesday afternoon, plowed into a group of children waiting for a bus and rammed into a tree, trapping several students underneath, police said.
<> We the people are going to have to get control of these SUV's. Maybe congress should pass some laws, maybe along the same lines as gun controls. Sometime back one of these things was seen at an armed bank robbery. I also remember reading a story where one of these things was hauling in some illegals from across the border. The color doesn't seem to make any difference but it seems the black ones are the most dangerous. Those that have the GPS On Star thingy seem to the ones that are the most safe. I guess it is because someone is watching out for them. I heard that if the doors accidentally locked on one of these SUV's it could be opened up by that GPS thing. I heard a commercial where one of those SUV's with the ON Star thing even called 911 after it had an accident. Now that is technology.
