I had the exact opposite experience last night. The service was and the food came out fast. The line was long but moved and a tolerable pace. The manager was walking the dinning room floor and helping where he could. Watch out for the Blazin' Noodles............My first hint should have been the word Blazin'. The dish was like a good hot sauce and chips you know the ones that you can't stop eating until your stuffed or your face burns off.

It was ok. Not overly impressed. Was not bad either.

I ate there on Monday and it was very good. The food had a very fresh taste, and the meat I had wiht the entreee was tender and cooked just right. I plan to go back for the lettuce wraps next.

Daughter and I went, not overly impressed. Dinning room was so crowded we ended up sitting with people we didn't know. Not really fond of doing that. Food was neither great or bad, mediocre.

So the man and I go to Pei Wei for the first time this past weekend. I loved the orange tea. Ordered Pad Tai (sp?) and after paying $1 extra for shrimp, I expected more than what I was given. It was okay but I wouldn't order it again. The crab wonton appetizer was delicious. The atmosphere was okay. If I had to choose though, I'd definitely go to Nothing but Noodles before I would Pei Wei.

Also, this grandma/grandpa couple next to us had the grandkids and apparently thought it was okay to let one of 'em walk over the booth seat (one long booth strip across the 1/2 wall) so he's like right next to me chattering something. If I wanted to be that close to kids I'd have some of my own. And then she let the kid sit on the table. That's just gross. Okay, I feel better just getting that out there.

Butt bare or butts with cloths? Do you spoon your food directly to the table to eat it? I guess them wiping tables down before you sit down is also unacceptable. I think your stance on this is a bit over the top. I am just not getting it. As a dad. My kids are going to the place so eat at home if you do not like kids.

Trust how they hande the food is far more gross and give you far more threat than a kid sitting on a table.

Do not give a glove reply. Those get contaminated once they handle doors or are wiped on aprons.

Rick for me the post was very informative.... I have raised my kids.... and when I want to go out and eat....I don't want to have to pay to watch out of control kids the whole time I am there. Now I have no problem with well behaved kids... but if you can't talk in a place without screaming over the kids or because you are having to peel them off of you or away from your table that is a different story.

Are you looking for an argument? I'm just stating the way I feel. Butts, bare or otherwise, belong in chairs, sitting. Child or adult. Of course you don't get it. You obviously don't appreciate teaching your children proper etiquette. You're doing them a disservice to allow them to behave badly. I suppose you don't mind them screaming on airplanes and running uncontrollably through Wal-Mart too. What a pity.

Was I looking to argue. No not really. I just made a point about how a kids bottom sitting on a table is gross. It is to me if its bare. Thats an issue. With cloths on. Not hardly.

Now as for your commnets on how I raise my kids. How in the world do you know how I raise my kids? You do not. You do not even have kids so do not begin to think one you can judge anyone on how they do it and two what I do for mine. My kids always get a talking to when they are too loud in public places and when they run off without me. They also get a good talking to when they run around where it should not be accpetable.

Yeha I agree with the kid getting on your seat and talking is bad. I still do not see the butt issue.

Now you can take your amusing little self and go back into the hole where you came from. You have no right or insight into who I am and how I handle my kids. Also kids are kids. They will act as such. I poorly pity your off spring if you ever choose to bless us with your love trophies. Sounds like you will be an unforgiving tyrant that will rule with fear.

Baybay I do agree with those being allowed to run amuck with out taking control is an issue.

For the record I will put my typicals kids age and behavior up against anyones. Now take a seat shut the hell up.
