its the "fast food" version (for lack of better term) of PF Changs I wouldn't call it fast food because people will think it's the type of place where the food is premade and just sits there under lamps until someone decides to order it. Everything is fresh. It's a mix of Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Thai, and Vietnamese. I'm so glad they've opened up one here. I LOVE their Pad Thai with beef!

So, I ate there tonight and it's clear to me the quality of the food is far and away better than any other Asian restaurant in town...and I've been to a lot of them looking for decent Chinese cuisine. The quality of the food was excellent and the price is very reasonable. The only down side is it's not a big dining area, so either go at "odd" hours, order take out (which I guess a lot of people do anyway), or plan on waiting a while for a seat. My wife and I went at about 2:30 in the afternoon and there weren't many seats available. Granted, it's mainly because it's a new restaurant, but I suspect the quality of the food will keep people coming back for more. So I wouldn't expect business to slow down much anytime soon.
In short, I highly recommend it.

I'm going to wait until the new wears off it. I don't do the crowds thing very well.

I don't like the small and cramped parking lot...and almost got backed into twice...just driving through...to look at the place.

I don't like the small and cramped parking lot...and almost got backed into twice...just driving through...to look at the place. That's the way I felt when I went to World Market the first time. They're going to have to fix the parking issue. It's pretty bad.

Went there about 11am yesterday to grab some take out to go. It took them 35 freaking minutes to get my single order of chicken curry. Most of the dining room had come and gone in the time it took to get my order. Several people behind me with large take-out orders got theirs before me. After about 20 min. I asked on my order and received a gruff" We are working on it!" They were never concerned or apologetic even after my long wait. The food, although fresh and made-to-order, was average at best. I've had much better chicken curry at other places. then it was a struggle to get out of the parking lot.
Not planning a return trip soon. In a nutshell the place was all show and no substance. The service sucks!

Amarillo makes me laugh. Anytime a new restaurant opens up, the city acts like it's the Second Coming. I remember when Taco Bueno, yes I said Taco Bueno, first came to town. The line of cars wrapped around the building for about a week, for fast food tacos.
As far as the service being slow, keep in mind that when a new place opens, there are kinks to work out. Everyone has to work out their system. Of course if others who came after you get their food first, you have reason to be a little peaved.
