This is the new restaurant on Georgia and 34th that used to be Joe's Pizza. Anyone been in there? I've had Persian food once in Houston-- it was good, very accessible, if not a little bland. A stark contrast to Indian food's bold flavors.

we ate there the first weekend it was open. Paid $15 for 2 kebobs and some steamed rice and cooked tomotoes. The prices were absolutely ridiculous and the service was about what you'd expect from a family run place where they put there 14 year old out there as the only waittress.
unless they make a dramatic turnaround, this place is history.

We ate there for lunch and we loved the food. Yes, the kebob was a little pricey, but the food was great! We briefly talked to one of the waitresses (she was busy), she is from Afganistan and the owners (husband and wife) are Iranian.
I got the impression that the husband and wife are not comfortable speaking English.
A lot of people were coming in to eat lunch while we were there, so looks like business is picking up.
