Are you trying to qualify for honorary Amarillo resident? I'm not originally from Amarillo...so I get out of town about once a month...for a little while. But I think 90 percent of the folks in Amarillo spend most of their life...by never getting out of the city limits. It's astonishing how most of the people born in Amarillo...have never even been to Canyon...ever.  Amarillo people need to actually get out of town...and see what it's like to drive on the open country highway...where you can actually see things like cattle and deer and rabbits and skunks...and the stars. |

Oh no, I won't tell you that I have a trip to Tulia, Canyon and Amarillo today. But I'll be back in Lubbock before 7:30 tonight for a meeting here. My boss did tell me that maybe they should give me an office in Amarillo as much as I have to go. Do you think you can snag me a key to the city as an honorary citizen? |
