d**n...I thought Wienerschnitzel was always open until 3am...for after the bars close. The Schnitzel on Western was closed...and so was the one @ 45th and Bell. But tonight...the lazy bums are closed early...so I couldn't get my late night Wienerschnitzel fix...and had to settle for waiting almost 30 minutes in the massive line at the Notaburger...just to get a couple of taquitos. They've got a 99 cent sale of those going...and since they were the only fastfood drive-up open...the waiting line was horrible.  Amarillo definitely needs more and better options for late night munchies.  |

I thought Wendy's and Taco Bell stayed open late. At least they did back home in the Southeast. We also had Krystals which was open 24 hours - perfect for that late night munchies fix.

I think Wendy's in Amarillo shuts down @ 1am.
I love the grilled chicken sandwich at Wendy's...but if you go after about 10pm...you seem to always get the 12 minute wait...while they cook comment.
I like Wienerschnitzel...but like Cat's says...it's not something to do very often.
For a single guy...it's just as well that I hate to cook...because it's really a waste of time and money to try to cook very much...for just one person.
I eat a lot of sandwiches on 100 percent whole wheat bread with the 98 percent fat free turkey...and fat-free cheese...so I do try to watch what I eat.
Can't eat much of those either...for the fat and cholesterol content...but I also love the sausage and egg and cheese toasters from Sonic.
Any one know of a late night Sonic...anywhere in town?

Wienerschnitzel doesn't have Diet Dr. Pepper. So I don't go there very often.

In Lew-bock? Don't think I've been in a Starbuck's in several years...though I've walked past one of the mini ones at B&N. Do nice chicks hang out there? They have a Subway in a TNT in Amarillo...so could imagine a Starbuck's in a TNT? What a combination... |
