Has anyone tried out Joe Tacos out by BSA yet? If so, do you have an opinion?
I heard it's run by the same bunch that owns Cattle Call...

I think there was a thread on this subject a while back.

Yeah. I read the other thread. There was only one "good" review and one mentioned something about them being wrote up for no hairnets.
We'll be going there tonight, so I'll have an opinion soon.

You're the brave first one to go...and if you survive...we expect to hear full details. We have confidence in your ability to complete this difficult mission... And we send you off with a bottle of Pepto Bismol...and a roll of ultra-strength Tums. ;D

We made it out to Joe Taco's just before 6:00pm last night. They have a small parking lot and it was full, so we had to park across the street. I thought we were going to have a long wait before being seated, but they had quite a few tables still available and we were seated immediately. It's actually bigger on the inside than it looks from the outside.
The food and service was really good. Prices are reasonable with most entree's running from $8 to $16. They have quite a variety of choices on the menu, but they are different from other places around town. It reminded me of some of the places we have been to in Sante Fe.
It's a little upscale, but not uncomfortable. The crowd got a little noisy after the tables filled up because of everyone trying to talk over everyone else. Unfortunately, that is to be expected at most restaurants these days.
I'll go back...

The week it opened, we sat on the patio. The weather was nice that night, and it was great atmosphere. The food was not so great: I hope they've improved upon their green chili sauce: mine was thick, gloppy and cold. I should have sent it back.

There's nothing west of the Joe Taco's place...except Bushland...
so you should be able to see some great sunsets from the patio.
A cool reason to be on North Coulter or Soncy around that time of day.
