Have never been in there...but I know it's been around a long time in Amarillo... and when I'm at B&N...I'll read the little thumbnail restaurant reviews for Amarillo and Lubbock in Texas Monthly magazine... and they talk about Scott's like they are the best seafood in town. Anyone know anything about the place? They probably have the largest No Smoking sign in town...on their building.

Definitely the best seafood place in Amarillo and has been for a long time. We love the boiled or spiced shrimp and order them regularly for parties. Oysters on the half shell are also the freshest in town. (go on Monday for 1/2 price) And of course the fried stuff rules too. If you're gonna splurge on calories, do it here and you won't regret it. The only thing I haven't liked from there is their gumbo. (one of the daily specials) But the chowders are good and they serve bottled beer out of the ice tub. It's got a great dive atmosphere and the workers have worked there a long time. Forks up!!
