There's a great Open Mic session at Acapulco's starting at 7 PM on the final Friday of each month (hence the name Final Friday. Duh). It's been going on for a couple of years now and just seems to keep getting better. There's lots of good music, sometimes some standup comedy and usually some of the Slamarillo poets doing their thing. It's in the back room at Acapulco's, straight back when you go in the from door. You can get a meal and/or drinks back there but don't expect great service. It's not any better than in the rest of the restaurant. The entertainment is well worth. However, is often NOT family rated. The poets get a little intense sometimes. Hope to see some new faces tonght.
