You seem to be into movies and such ... what do you recommend in the theaters right now?

And, have you seen Breach, which is on DVD now? If so, what did you think?

Breach was AWESOME! It upset me a little to realize that stuff like that probably goes on a lot.

The Ultimate Gift is a great rental (the book was amazing) and One Night with the King- both are religous and neither are "preachy".

The Simpsons was funny.

I didn't care for Superbad and I have a weird sense of humor.

Transformers was good and I never watched the show growing up and didn't know any of the back story- it is all explained.

Ratatouille was very cute!

The movie 300 was good only for the topless men. : )

Evan Almighty was okay. Expected more.

I have been renting the movies in the "8 movies to die for" series. I think I have seen 4 of the 8 now.


That's all we do is go to the movies and rent movies. Don't have friends or family here. Every Tuesday we are at blockbuster to see what is new.

Thanks, karenew! We mostly end up renting (we do the blockbuster mailing thing) because of my husband's travel schedule. I actually bought Breach, for some reason, he hasn't wanted to watch it.

Glad to know what you said about Transformers, because he wants to see it, but I haven't been interested. Maybe I'll give it a chance.

I had heard the same about Evan Almighty ... I'll end up renting it someday, I'm sure.

In fact, we'll probably at some point rent all of those you mentioned.

(On another note, don't you get kinda lonely or miss your old home?)

yep- we both get lonely. Been here (Amarillo) for 4 years now- so this is our "home" I guess.

Vacancy is pretty good too.
