They look like country guys...but have a really cool looking website... www.thegourds.com/Anyone heard Twister Cain? I'm not much for country either...but some of the stuff that sort of pushes the boundaries...and bends the genre...can be fun...especially if it's live...and in person. Edited to add...you can listen to them here.... thegourds.com/radio.html

There HAS to be at least one cajun in the group... Wish I was going to be here Sunday... I could have had free tickets.

I downloaded their new album a couple of weeks ago. "How will you shine" is a great song.
Have you heard their Gin n Juice version?

These guys were good...and yeah I know it's a crappy picture from my 3 year old Motorola flip-phone. I'm definitely in the market to buy a much better phone...with a better camera and better internet access.

They have been around 10+ years, but their style is not mainstream. Gin and Juice (with props to marked), is their only claim to fame. For an additional sounding blue-grass band, check out Hayseed Dixie. They do cover songs and their first album was a tribute to AC/DC. (Hayseed Dixie=AC/DC). Get it? I have their 2nd album "A Tribute to Hillbilly Mountain Love". There are 2 originals, but the rest are covers, including "Cat Scratch Fever", "Centerfold", "My Best Friend's Girl", "Fat-Bottomed Girls" and others.
