I know, I haven't done a movie review in a while, I have been busy with school and craft projects.
The Invisible- Nicholas has a promising future. His best friend does a business deal with the "bad crowd" at their high school, which has dire consequences for Nicholas later on in the movie. Annie (the leader of the bad crowd) has been in an out of trouble for years. She is responsible for Nicholas' misfortune. The only actor I recognized was Marcia Gay Harden, who portrays Nicholas' mother. (She did a great job playing a b!tch.)
Reign Over Me- Adam Sandler, Don Cheadle, Jada Pinkett Smith Charlie's (Sandler) family was killed in the 9/11 attacks. He doesn't want to remember anything about the family that he lost, it is too painful for him to remember. Charlie's college roommate (Cheadle) runs into Charlie and wants to help his friend recover and interact with the world again. Very good, but I felt uncomfortable when I was watching. (Felt so bad for Charlie, and got frustrated but understood his outbursts.)
Still to watch: 1408, Planet Terror and Next. I will edit this post once I have watched the remaining movies.

Planet Terror is the second movie that was originally released as a double feature. The first movie, Death Proof, came out a few weeks ago. Death Proof was written/directed by Quentin Tarintino. Planet Terror was written/directed by Robert Rodriguez. (Robert has since left his wife for lead actress Rose McGowan).
Planet Terror and Death Proof were meant to be a flashback to the 70's style movies of action/gore. Planet Terror's plot was totally a flashback. The lines were cheesy most of the time and the gore ... well... don't eat ANYTHING while watching this movie. Trust me.

NEXT- I really wasn't looking forward to watching this one. Nicholas Cage really doesn't do anything for me and casting a 40+ something man with a 20+ something woman doesn't seem realistic to me. The plot was original and makes you think what it would be like to look into your future. Overall an okay movie.

1408- based on a short story written by Stephen King, it stars John Cusak. Very Good movie. It's one of those movies that makes you think twice (or three times) and makes you question if you should have a drink (or many) to hep keep the storyline and your sanity intact.
