;D It's good to finally have some respect....but we know there's people out there who still wont give us credit.
So we'll just keep on going.

Yall Played good against us, we just couldnt get anything going, we had a horrible game while yall played a flawless one, but just too throw this in, those refs were blind, yalls defense would be holding our offensive lines face mask's, and not one penalty was called cause of that, so yea, hopefully yall will be in our schedule next year so we can play yall, good luck at friona should be a good game.

Usually I wouldnt say a word, but when you say refs are blind...you have to remember they miss calls both ways. We may have gotten away with some stuff but so did yall. Which is why one of our best receivers was in the ER after the game because one of your players threw punches. I wont say who it was but we have it on film. The main difference of this game was the mental aspect. We've had this game in our minds for a year and we gameplanned to perfection. Your team didnt believe we stood a chance and we were glad to knock them off their high horse. I hope now yall wake up and go beat the crap out of dumas on your way to a district championship. ;D
best of luck wolves!

Next year will be a reclassification year. In time, Bushland will move up....will it be next year? Bushland and Dalhart may be in the same district in the not too distant future.....

They are a pretty heavy Sr. loaded team, that's for sure but I bet they are more focused on this season right now. They will look at next year when the time comes.

Next year will be a reclassification year. In time, Bushland will move up....will it be next year? Bushland and Dalhart may be in the same district in the not too distant future..... Word is that Dalhart has already lost two games for the next two years and have been calling around to replace them. Those two lost games were with Bushland and Dumas. I think the question is not why Bushland is not playing Dalhart for two more years, but why Dalhart has lost two games off its schedule so far from realignment.

Well before the Dalhart and Dumas game, Dalharts coached asked to play Dumas next year, and the coach said that we would not be able to give them the game they need and basically said that we are no match for them, the final score in that game was 23-14 so hrmm..and Dalhart had many chances to win that game, and i have no clue why Bushland does not want to play us aswell, and i have also heard that stratford does not want to play us eaither, because since we are a rival and what not they dnt want any injuries.

Dalhart has lost at least three games for next year.
Bushland, Dumas, and Stratford.
Dumas claims that its a no win situation for them to play us. It's not that Dalhart can't give them a game its that the game looks bad either way for Dumas. If Dalhart wins then Dumas get bad press for losing to a little 3A. If Dumas win then they were supposed to and it was a throw-away game. Unless Dalhart starting winning consistently then the game is of no use to Dumas. I understand that call has to be made as a head coach.
Bushland and Stratford are different stories from Dumas. They both claim that these past two years the games have been too violent and foul mouthed. This is something they want no part of and who can blame them? They both lost star players last year and this year both had injuries in games they were winning by 30 points. That is not something you want to get your program into.
I have heard rumors Coach Young is looking to new places for games. Some of those places include Caprock and Lubbock area teams.
Also I have a feeling U.I.L will keep the Bushland-Dalhart rivalry alive.

Another factor in the equation is the growth of Dalhart due to the recently completed Cheese Factory. The related industry that this factory brings with it is projected to double Dalhart's population by 2012.
It would bring Dalhart's population close to Pampa and Borger. Dalhart is currently around 7,000 and would increase to about 14,000. Pampa is about 17,000 and Borger is near 14,000.
If in fact this does happen, Dalhart will be at least a large 3A school in the future.

Yea... our supposed "Cheese Boom"
It has brought a grand total of 40 kids into the system in 4 years... How is that going to double our population? I think the factory will be good for the town but nowhere near the amount that all the realators are frenzying everyone up about.
