Highland Park canceled the remainder of its junior varsity schedule, and will move players on the junior varsity up to the varsity squad, coach Victor Soliz said.
The move is being made due to a lack of available players on the varsity team, and to give younger players experience on the varsity level, Soliz said.
Highland Park hosts Bushland in a District 2-2A game Friday night.
