So once again I'm confused and will try to make sense of the new system in play for playoffs.

Canyon won against Borger 34-0
Dalhart won against Perryton 28-21
That makes

Canyon (1-0) +15pts
Dalhart(1-0) +7pts
Perryton(0-1) -7pts
Borger(0-1)-15pts


right?

So that puts Borger in last for the District with Canyon at the top spot, Dalhart 2nd, and Perryton 3rd.

Upcoming week is: Canyon at Perryton
................................Borger at Dalhart

Which would mean Perryton would need to beat Canyon by more than 8 points and Dalhart to beat Borger by mroe than 8 points for Dalhart to take top spot and for Perryton to take 2nd. This scenario would leave Borger out still.

If Canyon absolutely trucks Perryton and gets another 15 points then that will put canyon at + 30pts and Dalhart would only be able to make up 15 of those to give them +22 points.This would put Perryton at -22 and Borger -30.

To my understanding the points are only there in the event of a tie between two teams' district record.

While 4 team districts aren't as competitive as the others, they sure are easier to keep track of.
