Will the release of the Mitchell Report be good or bad for major league baseball?
My opinion is that it should have never been released. MLB should have taken the recommendations of the report of where to go and stated from this date forward this is the way it will be. The past should have been left alone. The past being brought forward will only muddle and darken the image of baseball.
I am concerned the legal ramifications of this report can and will last for years. I am also concerned there may be some named that may be innocent.
However, it is done and MLB will have to live with it.
