Two time defending champion.....and the Buffs are picked fourth?
Didn't we beat ACU in the playoffs?
Don't we have a bunch of D1 caliber players coming in?
Don't we have the best coach in the LSC?
Something doesn't add up.

Seems WT gets no respect. ACU will be tough. Looks to have the strongest backfield.

Unless their defense improves, ACU will have to outscore everyone. They really wore down last year.
Midwestern State won't be as good. Polk is a great athlete, but not a great passer. I think teams can key on him and slow MSU down. Lost several good defensive players.
Tarleton looked like the best team from week 3 right up until the final week of the season. Other than two solid RBs, and the LSC's top DB and DT, I don't know what they have to fill in.
The Buffs have some good players coming back, but lost a lot. When will we see who the transfers are? How many guys won't be back from last year?
How long will Kingsville be down? Was last year a one year dip? Will the coaching changes take a while to adjust to?
Angelo and ENMU look like they will battle it out for the cellar. In hindsight, Coach Elliott looks like a magician.
The North looks like a cluster with SEO, SWO, or TAMC likely to come out on top.
No Pitrucha for SEO, can Williams lead them as well? New coaches and a lot of talent graduated, I think they will take a step or two back.
Is SWO for real? If they have another winning season, does Held bolt for greener pastures like he did from OPSU? This guy brings in more transfers than the Buffs. This may be their best chance to make some noise.
If TAMC had any offense last year, they would have been in the playoffs. This year, they brought in top-rated QB, and TE, but lost the bulk of their defense and their DC. They could win anywhere between 3 and 8 games. Another team that is embracing transfers to no end.
NSU, ECU, and UCO look to battle for the cellar, with UCO waiting for the hammer to fall. Prospective HC's with the desire to prove themselves in trying circumstances should update their resumes for after this season.

Seems WT gets no respect. ACU will be tough. Looks to have the strongest backfield. WT would get more respect (and bigger crowds) if the dufus WT AD would market our football program. Then again.....people like you and Mike McBroom....love to look at thousands of empty seat on the east side at Kimbrough....right???
