Guess it could be worse...I could live in the low part of Hunsley Hills in Canyon...or the Paramount area here.
Had to alter my route by a couple of blocks coming home a while ago.
My block is a long one that is just a little bit higher in the middle...so it does not flood.
But the street on one end...floods badly...
And the street on the other end floods moderately...to where you sometimes have to drive down the middle of the street.
Was anyone else out...in the rain...or just after the last big rain came through?
Was anyone else around here at GLC tonight?
At least I didn't see any big hail...though I heard they got some large stuff...both east and west of town.

I haven't been back to Amarillo for a while so I missed it. I remember growing up there how they would have to put the big pipes along some streets and pile dirt over them so we could drive over. My wife was used to snow but not so much rain. One night we were coming home from the store and as we drove I hung my arm out the window and my fingers were trailing through the water. Used to be like that with snow in Amarillo too. When I was in high school my friends and I used to jump off Fannin Jr. High into the snow drifts. Try that lately and you'll wind up broken.
