granted, I didn't eat their often. Apparently they were open for business one day and closed the next.
Rumor is that someone has already looked at the space and is thinking of opening a Mexican restaurant.

I went there once and had a burger. I don't think there was any beef in the patty at all... It looked like it was all soy protein. I liked their fries though.
That other place at the East end of the strip center needs to close down too, if it hasn't already. Isn't it somehow affiliated with Texas Roadhouse?

Roadhouse Express is not associated with Texas Roadhouse. Texas Roudhouse is a national chain.

The current Cattle Call owners seem to have several out of business restaurants to their name in Amarillo.
My opinion is...that they've never really put in the time and devotion to one of their restaurants...that it takes to really be successful.
I think the original Cattle Call owners were only running that restaurant...and they appeared to devote all their effort to the business...and it showed.
Too bad they were close to retirement age.
The current Cattle Call folks must be trying to immediately hire someone else to manage a restaurant...when they need to be putting in the time and effort themselves.
