Finally week 0 just around the CORNER!! i will even predict score just too try my luck.
Dumas- 21-17 Will be close, don't think Dumas has as good of a team as they did. Pampa- 40-14 Believe this will be a BLOWOUT, heard Borger still struggling Dalhart- 35-0 Dalharts D is READY and will Shut out Fritch! Muleshoe- 31-21 Muleshoe wins with 2nd half effort Cooper- 21-20 Bushland lost ALOT due too most of there players being Sen's Hereford- 36-21 Hereford gonna be a strong team as they are year in and year out Canadian- 50+-0 Sry but Canadian Defending state champs against a struggling program, not even gonna be close Panhandle- 35-0 If Panhandle has a great D as they did last year, then wont be a contest Childress- 24-21 Gonna be a good match up..maybe game of the week, always close when these two teams meet up. Sunray- 28-13 Sunray gonna have just too much for Naz

Yeeesssss, the season begins.....with my screwed up schedule I haven't even seen a scrimmage....gotta get my priorities in order.
OK....here we go....
Dumas at Perryton...I think Dumas will have some carry over from last season. While this game could be close, I will go with the Demons to put it on the Rangers.
Pampa at Borger This is one of those records don't count game. Looking at the coulda, shoulda, woulda....the Harvesters should show the Bulldogs the way home. Since the Bulldogs are at home, Borger in an upset.
Fritch at Dalhart I think the Wolves will be a little strong for the Eagles. If the Eagles come home with the W....Bushland should take note.
Muleshoe at Levelland Muleshoe is good. How good? I dunno but they will level Levelland.
Bushland at Lubbock Cooper Coach Flowers has loaded Bushland's schedule for pre-district. The Falcons will be battle tested when they get to district. I think this one is a little tough for Bushland. Lubbock Cooper ain't no pushover. The Pirates hand Bushland a L for the road home.
Estacado at Hereford I don't think the Mats are quite ready to stampede the Herd. I look for Hereford to send Estacado home with the L while they keep the W. Canadian at River Road Woe for the Road.....the Canadian Wildcats showing they have just reloaded. Canadian by whatever they want.
West Texas at Panhandle Coach Peathingy begins to get things moving his way. The Panthers go back to the spread to go with an aggressive defense and send the Comanches home with a L to regroup for next week.
Childress at Stratford OMG, the ground will shake in Stratford. Expect a 7.2 on the Richter Scale. A lot of hitting will go on. Howsumever, Childress carries the big W all the looong way home.
Nazareth at Sunray This will be a good game. Sunray is going to one of the better 1A teams on this end of the state. Too bad Stratford and Canadian are in the same district. Two playoff teams in the opener and I will go with the home team on this one.....Sunray gets the W.

Dumas, Moore County team and Coach Burt seems to have things going good in Dumas
Pampa ?
Dalhart let's see if the turnaround continues
Muleshoe....no reason
Bushland, I like Coach Flowers program.
Hereford because I want them to...lol
Canadian, we will see how good they really are and I think they are!
Panhandle wins this one
Stratford is just to darn hard to beat at home
Sunray if they can contain Roland and his arm. Don't count Naz out this season, lots of talent on that team. Sunray's D should be super tough this season so should be a great game.

Hey....wait a minute! A woman has invaded this topic. Wonder what criteria she uses for her picks? Does she just like their team colors...or think they have a cute quarterback? ;D We did picks back in high school my senior year...and one of our girls won for the season...and it was a BAD embarrassing deal for us guys. She is still proud of that...and it was brought up at our last class reunion.

So, you think women don't like football? I only pick pro teams by their cute quarterbacks. Looking at the quaterbacks of high school teams would just be perverted.

I am thinking Perryton will give the Demons all they can handle....22-17 Dumas The Bulldogs prevail....28-27 (see last years game) The Wolves look tough...35-14 The Mules by 21 Cooper should handle the Falcons...27-10 Herd rolls over the Mats....34-13 Canadian warms up for the season...34-7 Panthers looking like a football team...28-7 Stratford IS tough at home especially...24-22 I like the Bobcats chances here....21-14

Ok woman...I was talking about liking football versus really understanding the game.
Will be interesting to see if you can beat any guys for the season on picks.
