Well, if I hadn't changed my mind on Stratford -Childress....I would have been 8-1 since I had a no pick on Pampa but lo and behold, I changed when I remembered Stratford was not at home.....BUT, then I realized that they have played so many times at Bivins that they practically were at home...oh well....7-2 ain't to bad... ;D

Also...you've gotta realize that people in a smaller place like Stratford...
have to come to Amarillo all the time to buy stuff anyway...
so they'd have no trouble getting fans to come see them play.
I bet Stratford people get to Amarillo a lot more than Childress folks.
I grew up in a small town...but 40 years of coming to Amarillo on shopping trips...means I feel like I grew up in Amarillo.

I bet Stratford people get to Amarillo a lot more than Childress folks. I grew up in a small town...but 40 years of coming to Amarillo on shopping trips...means I feel like I grew up in Amarillo. I too grew up in a small town. In fact, 30 miles west of Amarillo so, we spent many an hour in Amarillo (and Polk Street)...LOL Now 70 miles to the north but Mom lives in Amarillo and we're down there all the time it seems. |
