Wow...I didn't Amarillo still rated good stuff like ZZ Top and Larry Steinfeld.
Will ZZ Top be doing United Spirit also...or Amarillo only?
If it's just Amarillo...you'll have to deal with some pesky Lubbock folks coming up to see them.
Let's hope Flu doesn't like them...then we might be safe in Amarillo. ;D

looks like AMA only. According to their website they are playing Colorado before ama.. and no mention of shows after us.

You are behind the times, W-T. They've already played Lubbock. But since you like pesky Lubbock folks so much, maybe I should mark the date on my calendar.

Got my tickets to ZZ Top and Gordon Lightfoot.
I turned my 10 year old nephew on to ZZ Top a few years back in my home state up north. Every time he would see me he would play air gutar and in a low drawl would say "I let my ya ya down, I got pen-e-trated . . ."

Incidentally, we went to the show and it was excellent, the tin can acoustics of the civic center notwithstanding.
I've seen the band years ago outside of Texas, but this was the first time in Texas, and they do look more comfortable on a Texas stage. They put on one of the best shows I have ever seen. I've always loved their act, it is such a perfect blend of humor, laid back Texas attitude and a$$ kicking turbo blues. Billy Gibbons is a phenomenal musician as are all members of the group. Concert tickets are expensive, but so is caviar.
