I remember a couple of years ago there was a restaurant out on the Fritch Highway (could be Vickie's, but that is the name of the soul food place in town) that was supposed to be good. Does anybody know about this place?
Also, what about the place on the Claude Hwy, Lone Star Bar and Grill (I think thats the name)?
And, speaking of way-out places, what about Outlaws? Both Lone Star and Outlaws are supposed to have a great steak. (I've actually had one at both places years ago, but I'm wondering about their current quality.)

About those steaks back then, years ago...
At Lone Star, the owner brought out the thickest, most delisious looking steak to show before cooking, and it was then cooked perfectly, but it was somehow underwhelming in flavor, like they hadn't seasoned it at all.
At Outlaws, the food was good, but the place had that old cigarette smell that I couldn't get past. Looked like a fun place to party after the meal, though. I don't remember why we didn't stick around for a few beers, as this was pre-kid time for me.

I googled for a minute...and found this from Texas Monthly...
Sounds like a place I want to try...
Wonder if the atmosphere in anything like Money's off Main St in Perryton?

Atmosphere, if I remember correctly . . . bar. Just a bar. With pool tables. Shoot, that Tx Monthly article makes me want to go back, for sure.

Money's in Perryton...is darkly lit with old barn wood on the walls...and has my favorite atmosphere of any place I've seen in the Panhandle.
