I am throwing these out ealier than usual as I am going out of the country and away from computers. In fact, it will be next Sunday before I will have a chance to catch a score. Please feel free to add any games you feel strongly about.
Palo Duro - Hereford...The Herd lost one last week they shouldn't...I look for them to stampede of the Dons.
Muleshoe - Cranes...The Mules offensive machine rolls. While it may not be another 50 point offensive explosion, I pick Muleshoe.
Plainview - Dumas...The Demons have picked up some confidence. The Dogs have not. Dumas extends their win streak to two.
Frenship - Randall...This should be a good game. Brad Davis' bunch is a little further along at this time. Frenship wins.
Tascosa - Odessa...Long road for the Rebels not to come back with a win. They do.
Permain - AHS.... One word....MOJO!
Bushland - Stratford...I would pay to see this one. One thing Coach Flowers and Coach Metcalf have in common, they have tough predistrict schedules. The flip of the coin sezs Bushland.
Panhandle - Sunray...Panhandle finds out how tough they really are. Sunray will be the best team they have played. I give the home team the edge....Panhandle wins in a tough game.
Fritch - Childress...We find out how good Fritch is....according to comparative scores against Dalhart, Childress should be about a two touchdown favorite. Has Fritch improved? Childress wins but by how much?

I'm going to wait until later in the week to pick in case others throw some games out there.
Great matchup between Sunray and Panhandle. Good test for both teams!
Bushland- Stratford should be a great game. I'm leaning toward the Falcons.
How good is Clarendon? They may be the sleeper!

Hereford by 37 Mules Demons Frenship Tascosa Permian Bushland....rocketman made a very good observation about big game experience though. Sunray-which Sunray team will show up? If the Bobcats play like they are capable of playing they will win. If the stumble out of the blocks like they did against Fritch then the Panthers win. Childress

Missed one this week on the ones I tried. Got lucky. That Odessa bunch was better than I thought they were.
Wow, can't believe the Elks had six turnovers. It is hard to beat anyone with that many much less someone like Bushland.
I thought the Panhandle - Sunray game was a benchmark game that gave some positioning of team strength for the upcoming district races for each. While neither will probably win their respective districts, they will be players.
Muleshoe apparently handled Crane without a great deal of problem. They have become a force to be reckoned with in the playoffs.
Pemian is MOJO! It will take someone from the multiplex to check their oil.
Childress continues to be Childress, rolling along.
Frenship plays at a different level than Amarillo area 4A schools. The Davis clan has put together a solid program that reloads. They even have influence and coordination with football leagues out of school and as young as 5th grade. Build 'em like ya want 'em.
Looking forward to this week.
