Driving by...it looks like it must be a low-budget operation...
Because they have made absolutely no updates or changes to the building...
And their sign is just printed vinyl slapped over the cheap metal sign that Quackenbush put there.
Geez people...do something to change the place up...and make it nicer...
So it doesn't look and smell like The Old Recycled Quackenbush Place.
We finally got rid of the ambulance chasing lawyer...but it looks like they are just going to leave the building just like Jesse left it.
At a minimum...get a new sign...and paint the building a darker and more attractive color.
And while you're at it...you might want to hire the same company who did the sign on the Nacho's place at 34th and Coulter...because that is a modern and attractive sign.

I was just down in Lubbock and tried to get the group of people I was with to go there, to no avail. I was hoping to try it. Guess I'll have to wait for this one to open.

bdub, the one is Lubbock is really good. It's owned by the same people who own Harrigan's. I don't know if the one in Amarillo will be the same, but if it is, you will like it.

I haven't had a chance to actually eat there yet, but from asking around it sounds very promising. Apparently the wine list rivals or exceeds anything in the area and the steaks are certified black angus cooked in an 1800 degree infrared oven. I will definitely be making a trip there next time we have a sitter. Hopefully being open for dinner only will keep the quality of service / food as high as possible.

Thought about this place when I drove by late yesterday afternoon.
Only being open on some nights...and no other times...
Means their employees will be mostly part-time people...having to also work somewhere else.
Do you think that means better quality?
