Does Anyone Know Why I Have Never Been The Biggest Fan Of It But I Have Noticed That The Location On Ross St. & 24th & Grand Had Closed And Was Just Wondering If Anyone Knew Why?

Most likely the increase in minimum wages...and the increased cost of everything else....
Cut into the profit margin enough...that the franchise owner is pulling the plug on that location.
Blame it on the current economic situation...where the franchise owner has probably also taken a good beating on his stock portfolio.
And to top it off...if that building hasn't been updated...it may need a lot of work done.
I bet I haven't eaten at a Popeye's in at least 10 years.
Just watch the KFC just west of 34th and Bell...that has a real habit of screwing up orders.

Oh, I hope not! The one on Paramount is still open, and I think the one on Bell. I just LOVE their red beans and rice, thought their biscuits have kinda gone downhill.

KFC biscuits are still good...just double-check your order before you leave...to make sure it's right.
My mom's fried chicken is an incredible indulgence...and she has the best batter recipe I've ever seen.
I think a lot of the key is...that restaurants often seem to leave the skin on...which has a lot of the fat and cholesterol.

Anyone try one of their "bowls"? They sound better than the KFC version that is the fodder for at least one stand-up comedy routine I've heard.

I noticed yesterday afternoon....
That the Popeye's location on Ross...has been torn down...
And they are framing out a new fast food restaurant right in the same spot.
Not sure if it will be a Popeye's or not...but it looks like we will soon know.

I'm told it will be a KFC. They didn't completely tear out the Popeyes, just down to the concrete (?) support beams and then started again.

There is also a Popeyes on South Bell at the Canyon E-way that looks pretty new.

It looks like the one on Bell (Pucket Plaza) has closed. A shame, since I always went to this one. And... they had a floor urinal! > Remember when that KFC closed a few years ago? Then they reopened a year or two later. Come to think of it, that CVS Pharmacy right next to the Popeye's looks closed, too. What is with that shopping center now?
