Trust me WT this is far better. Yeah Wal Mart has stuff similar but these are good. They put toppings on the crust in front of you.

From what I've heard before...
buying a new pizza oven...like Pizza Hut uses...is almost like taking out a small mortgage.
Not sure if that's exactly true...but I've heard they are expensive.

On the subject of take and bake pizza, does anyone know where to find Boboli Pizza Crusts in this town? Every once in a while I run across them but can never find them when I look. All I really want is a decent base for my cheese, jalapeƱo, fresh basil and tomato.

My good friend and forum lurker C. G. called me the other day when she spotted some Boboli crusts. I got to the store about 3 hours after she called and the Boboli Guy was already having to restock. Guess it is a good thing she did not list the store here.
Thanks Darlin!

IMO, the absolute best store bought crust ever was Albertson's Sicilian. It was chewy and delicious. They disappeared from stores and were replaced by Mama Mary's.

If you can't find the store bought crusts, I have a great solution: in a pinch, we made pizzas with some homemade meatballs on frozen tandori naan by "Tandoor Chef". You can find it at United and the new natural food store on Coulter. Made a great pizza crust.
