Fun time in high school sports, the football playoffs. Who will win.
Permian - Allen...Allen is a 7 point favorite but I think MOJO is working. Permian in a dandy.
Idalou - Brady...slobber knocker as both teams line up and come right at ya. Going with the Wildcats of Idalou.
Muleshoe - Clyde...Clyde's only loss was to 3A playoff contender Sweethingyer. Their second loss will be to Muleshoe.
Canadian - Stanton...Stanton coaches probably ate and slept with the Canadian-Stratford game film. In spite of that, Canadian marches on toward the title game.
Stratford - Sundown...rematch of earlier game the Elks taught the Roughnecks the finer points of where to put the helmet. Although it may be a closer game, Eddie & Co. pounds their way to another victory.
Sunray - Iraan...the undefeated Braves are a definite favorite in this one. Coach Wood and the Bobcats have been to the war several times this season and have faced some really tough opponents. I'm takin' battle tested Sunray. Hmmmm, that could set up a game between Sunray and Stratford.
Lubbock Roosevelt - Cisco...many are wondering how Roosevelt got here. Cisco is a heavy favorite. I'd like to go with the Eagles but I have to pick Cisco in this one.
Frenship - Denton Ryan...how the heck did Frenship get this game in Lubbock? I think we had better anti-up and send Coach Davis to Vegas. He had to win a flip of the coin. Location, location, location...the nod goes to Frenship with this home field advantage.
