We went and had dinner there last Friday. My daughter and her fiance were in town from Lubbock and wanted to take us to dinner...We went there and I told them I would pay for drinks and appetizers...they are both still in school so I could not let them pay for everything....Well, I checked my bank account this A.M and they billed me for the whole dinner, the appetizers and drinks, even after my daughter paid for the dinner!!! I called and Mr so called Manager said unless we had the receipt that the kids paid with cash, they were not refunding me my money...Hubby called and told them that if they did not have our account credited by tonight, he is going up there...As of right now, the charge is still there. Hubby told Mr. Manager to look at the receipts that night and he will not find that we signed both of them, just the one for $28.... Grrr that pisses me off!!!

Sorry that it happened, but thanks for telling us. I go there off and on, but they just lost our business and the rest my family's business.

I have been so jaded to expect poor service anymore when we go out. I scratched Montana Mike's off the list also because of a lousy meal. I ordered a New York strip steak and got something that looked like it was carved off a carcass hanging from the rafters.

Amarillo doesn't really have true restaurants like you get when you go to San Francisco or New York. You have for the most part a mix of locally owned and franchised restaurants all staffed front and back by kids working for minimum wage. I just don't expect good food or good service when I go out anymore; that way I'm not disappointed.

I guess if you want professional chefs and waiters, go to Scoma's in San Francisco.
