www.cdc.gov/swineflu/This is becoming serious. The flu is confirmed in at least 11 countries now. Texas has the first death from swine flu in the US and has the most confirmed cases. Mexico has closed all schools as well as many tourist sites.

News said Amarillo has 3 pediatric cases that qualify as Fast Flu.
Which means they are they are of the fast spreading type.
So they are expecting results from a state lab in the next day or so.
Scary.
I made a grocery trip to Wal-Mart on Coulter tonight...and they appear to be woefully ignorant.
Also...I saw too many of the young early-20's kids in the old faded T-shirts and baggy jeans.
Those are the same careless ones who will be out without coats in 10 degree weather...and would probably also go out spreading if they are sick.

Wow, what a mess. I hope this does not become a serious epidemic. Even more so than it is already...

There are no cases in Lubbock...yet. If there are some in Amarillo, I'm sure it won't take long to mosey on down I27.
