A new Jamaican restaurant from Wayne, the chef who cooked at Burberry's downtown, and at a restaurant on 6th street before that.
Location is a little strange, and plain to the point of looking like an office (Western St. Business park #4132) but if you can see past that, the food is great. Jerk pork with curry potatoes was phenom: his two dipping sauces, one bbqy and one vinegary are not needed for the succulent meat, but they are so good I was tempted to dring them straight. And the brown stew shrimp was one of the best shrimp dishes I've had, rivaling the BBQ shrimp from Mr. B's in New Orleans for richness.
Despite the location, the sparse Jamaican decor, the music, and the rasta people eating there and working there really do make for an interesting vibe.
