We'll see if this continues... Because it has appeared for the last several years... That the Keep WT Small crowd owns the Amarillo Globe News sports writers... Especially after they got Jon Mark Beilue re-assigned out of sports for writing... This is the 3rd losing WT game with no Sunday online article. So I'm thinking this may be no accident. I've noticed in the past while watching the WT sports scene... That those involved in pushing WT into recruiting only freshmen... Would prefer that WT get no news coverage. The fewer people who know about the losing...the fewer people who question the losing. And I am not the only one who has noticed the lack of game coverage.  |

Would prompt non-stop articles from local sports writers. And sports writers in other towns would have been analyzing and questioning the coaches. ***************************************************** But not in Amarillo... Where the Globe News sports writers keep their mouths shut and look the other way. ***************************************************** We used have real sports writers journalists at the Globe News... Who used to have balls and guts... But now they just keep their mouths shut. The late Globe News sports columnist Putt Powell... Has to be looking down from heaven with scorn on the sad shape of the AGN sports dept. ***************************************************** This WT losing season appears to have been planned in advance... By the bunch who try hard to keep WT football from ever progressing very far. After Ronnie Jones and Don Davis and Gene Mayfield failed... Did that bunch really think WT would win without recruiting transfers? ***************************************************** WT...the school where they have fired 2 winning football coaches for being too successful.
