Since they used to have an events coordinator but eliminated that position several years ago.
Makes me wonder how much effort WT put into attracting events.
Except for WT athletic events...this place is very under-utilized.
And it also makes me wonder how the money for naming rights was used.
Having concerts there would even help get more name recognition for First United Bank.
Lots of un-tapped potential for Amarillo and Canyon and WTAMU.
It's a shame that the Globe News...
No longer bothers to analyze what happens or does NOT happen around Amarillo.
I wonder who in the leadership of Amarillo & WT thinks it's cool that concerts bypass us for Lubbock?
