Most of the best WT players are not local.
And when I was at WT...we lost big-time the first 3 years with way too many local players.
And we didn't start winning until a new coach replaced most of the players.
Then there were maybe 4 or 5 good local players left.
And they guys scoring touchdowns were mostly transfers from California.
Fans want winning and they don't care where a player went to high school.
