The color on the KAMR-KCIT game broadcast is sort of washed out.
But you can glance over at a D1 game on the networks,
And it's just like an explosion of color and the picture is so much sharper.
The WT broadcast can't even compete with Texas-OU today or Boise St -Oregon St last week.
Surely they could rent better cameras for 4 months, so they would get a bigger viewing audience.
But I noticed the high school highlights at the WT half-time today had better color and sharpness.
So go figure on how that could be better than the WT broadcast...................
And if we went back D1-FBS where WT was until the early 80's.
We'd have some regional ESPN coverage every now and then.
The biggest difference between that time and now is GREATLY INCREASED media and TV coverage.

KAMR runs a pretty good remote broadcast of WT away games but they are being let down by poor quality cameras.
Decent camera angles, but it's hard to watch with the slightly fuzzy focus and washed out color.
The quality cameras on the network D1 broadcasts are like a breath of fresh air compared to the WT broadcast.
I have to wonder why the Friday night high school highlights look like they were shot with better camera equipment than the WT games....

This is a simulation of what it looks like to watch the WT away games on TV. Washed out color and just enough blur to make it slightly uncomfortable to watch. And even the local Amarillo high school highlights have better color and sharper focus.
