Some interesting reading. Using a stronger team captain approach & peer pressure to keep a team going in the right direction. An exclusive club and privileges for those who stay in line. And those who don't stay in line are visibly left out. Peer pressure to stay in line, because no one wants to be left out. This follows the first mission of athletics, which is to produce better future leaders. Reward the leadership committee: 1. With group appearances on the coach's TV and radio shows. 2. With pictures and bios on a leadership committee page on the team website. 3. An article in the newspaper at the first of each football season. And make it known that the leadership committee is about enforcing policies year round. If it works at a big D1 program...it should work anywhere else. www.teamcaptainsnetwork.com/www.teamcaptainsnetwork.com/public/211.cfm
