but in Nov. ? what's up with that. my directv is out, called and they think it's just the weather causing it, but, I think it took a hit last nite with all that lightning and thunder, we'll see. I got the insurance on it at any rate. Scene from front door..........enjoy ! Attachments:

Nice. It didn't make it down here. Not that it would have mattered if it did. I was in San Antonio all day...balmy 83 degrees.

From what I understand...the snow only went about as far south as Tulia.
But last winter...there were times when Lubbock got snow and Amarillo got almost nothing.
I lived in Lubbock for a year and half in the mid-80's.
And Lubbock got more snow than Amarillo then. ;D

You didn't even know when I lived in Lubbock for a while 25 years ago.
Or you might have run me out of town. ;D
And other than a new big pressbox at Jones Stadium...Lubbock hasn't changed that much.
Except for the new stuff going south...which has created some new shopping areas.

I would have sent you packing. ;D It's crazy around here if you want to go west on 4th or 19th streets. But once construction is done, it should be a breeze.  |

Back in the mid-80's...I had no idea phantom lived in Lubbock...or I might have been skeered! And we did not have the following things around here until the shark family moved from Indiana. 1. No snow. 2. No big winds. 3. No cow smell. Shark brought it all with her........right? ;D |
